Residential sector - point of use
It is important to protect the kitchen tap as the main source of residential water for drinking and/or cooking. Solid impurities, microplastics, viruses, bacteria, endotoxins, and moulds(molds) and algae can indeed grow inside pipework spontaneously or due to infiltration or faults in the public water main or private pipework within residences themselves.
Graphil In-Line filters, available with membranes for ultrafiltration (Graphisulfone®) are installed directly on the cold water distribution line, with secure quick connections to the mixer tap, and typically housed in the under-sink cabinet or kitchen plinth.
The filtration systems are easy to install and replace, and solve issues relating to transportation, storage and disposal of bottled water. They do not use electricity and do not waste water like reverse osmosis systems do.
Graphil In-Line are available with John Guest push-fitting for ¼” pipe (OD 6.35 mm), they can be supplied sterile.
